Siloso Beach Resort was one of the exhibitors at the Clean and Green Singapore 2016 Launch, held from 5 – 6 Nov. Our main objective in our exhibition was to showcase our Eco friendly resort, its sustainable features and what we have accomplished so far. Considering the exhibit theme of creating a Zero Waste Nation, we focused on explaining a close loop cycle involving feeding wood waste to the earthworms to produce fertiliser which will be used for the vegetables going back to the cafe. We also informed guests about our efforts to preserve trees and bio diversity that are still continuing to flourish in our resort. Over the course of the 3 days we have given out over 200 bottles of castings fertiliser to the public, which was a huge success.
